  • Four days full of active sailing. With an exciting Seascape 27. Under supervision of an experienced skipper / instructor, who will advise you with many tips and tricks on how to manage a modern performance cruiser / racer. Beside this we will enjoy the out-of-the-season tranquillity of the North Adriatic Sea islands and its tiny towns, our overnight stops. The first island is just 22 nautical miles from our starting point (Port of Bunarina, Pula, Croatia).

  • 1 st day: Early evening hours - arrival of participants to Bunarina / Pula, boarding, food supply.

    2 nd day: Introduction to the boat, sailing.

    3 rd and 4 th day: Sailing

    5 th day: Sailing, returning to Bunarina (until around 3 p.m.)

  • You skipper and instructor will be Marjan Gorec, one of the most experienced Adriatic skippers. He is in charge of sailing school Porta, maybe the best Slovenian sailing school, sailing instructor for more than 20 years and a specialist for Seascape boats.
    The winner of the 2016 doublehanded 135 miles long Seascape Challenge race in a Seascape 27 class, together with the Seascape boats designer, Samuel Manuard. Four times winner of the same race in Seascape 18 class (2017, 2019, 2022 and 2023). In the last edition there was 39 Seascape 18 on the starting line! In 2021, 2022 and 2023 also the winner of Jabuka Race in class Seascape 27 and the 2022 Seascape 18 Slovenian vice-champion.

  • How to sail fast, how to do fast and smooth tacks and jibes, how to start well, what strategy to choose, what rules to take into account when in crowd rounding a mark, where the crew should sit, what do all these flags mean? And many other details you should know and train to have a good race and enjoy in it. All of that and more we learn on our race – sailing courses in lovely Jezera town.

  • Theoretical lessons and training: Sail trim, gennaker sailing, how to steer the boat fast, boat speed and angles comparison, racing Rules of Sailing basics and practical application while starting and racing, start, upwind – downwind races, coastal races…

  • Theory and training: Improve Level 1 knowledge, race field strategy and tactics, roll tacks, roll jibes, crew positioning and moving, VMG sailing, fine tuning and steering in different conditions (from no wind to near gale force winds), boat speed and angles comparison, start, layline, complex situations (start, mark rounding; rules, how to react)… And a lot of short training

    races.

  • Day 1
    - 20.00: Welcome drink

    - 09.30: Theory, on the water training (with lunch break)
    - 17:30: Short analyses, debate

    Day 5
    - 09.30: Theoretical summary, on the water training
    - 15.00: Closing debrief, farewell drink

  • Your coaches will be Marjan Gorec and Ivan Nemet.
